Football Coach May Have Abused Players
Published at | Updated at(TWIN FALLS, ID) – A former southern Idaho high school football coach is being accused of emotionally and psychologically mistreating his players. Justin Alsterlund resigned last month from his coaching job at Canyon Ridge High School, but still teaches P.E. and health classes at the school. Twin Falls Superintendent Wiley Dobbs says the district has hired an independent investigator to look into the allegations. Some players are standing by the accusations, while others are speaking out in support of their coach. Alsterlund, who has a record of 5-14, was the third football coach in the school’s five-year history.
