Governor Otter Lauds Russian Trade Mission

(BOISE, ID) – Gov. Butch Otter is calling his trade mission to Russia last month a success. Otter led a delegation of several entrepreneurs and business leaders to Russia for an 8-day visit to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Local businesses actively marketing products to Russia include Logan Farm Equipment of Sugar City and NEU Seed of Rexburg. Experts say Idaho exported $21 million in goods to Russia last year–an amount that is projected to increase if last month’s mission has the impact that delegates expect.
