ISU to Build Berm Under Red Hill “I”

(POCATELLO, ID) – Idaho State University has announced its plans for fixing the eroding “I” on Red Hill.  Administrators have determined that a berm will be constructed beneath the logo, which will help mitigate erosion and stabilize the soil on the west side of the hill. Once the berm is in place, officials will determine exactly what to do with the “I,” which will likely be replaced altogether. The erosion has been happening for nearly a century, after the city scooped out several tons of dirt to work on streets. The project could begin as early as next month.
