Kobe Bryant Out for Approximately 6 Weeks with Knee Injury
Published at(EL SEGUNDO, Calif.) — Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will miss approximately six weeks after an MRI revealed on Thursday that he has a fracture of the lateral tibial plateau of his left knee, according to the team. He suffered the injury during Tuesday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
It’s been a tough year for the 15-time NBA All-Star, who appeared in his first game on Dec. 8 after missing nearly eight months recovering from a torn Achilles tendon.
In six games this season, Bryant is averaging 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game.
