Lebron James Misses Practice Due to Sprained Left Ankle
Published at(MIAMI) — Miami Heat forward Lebron James did not practice on Tuesday because of a sprained left ankle. His status for Wednesday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers has not been determined.
“Very stiff, very sore,” James said of his ankle. “I’m going to do round-the-clock treatment…and go from there.”
The four-time reigning MVP suffered the injury late in the third quarter against the Utah Jazz Monday night, when he rolled the ankle while dribbling. Despite the sprain, he was able to finish the game.
In 24 games this season, James is averaging 25.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
