“The law is working,” the message says. “More than half a million Americans have enrolled through HealthCare.gov in the first three weeks of December alone — and 800,000 more are on track to get Medicaid through their states.”

Obamacare has been a topic of debate over the past few months, largely due to the glitches on the healthcare website and the inability to get people signed up. Now, with the deadline to be covered at the start of the new year approaching, Obama is pleading with Americans to sign up.

Since Oct. 1, there have reportedly been more than 39 million unique visitors to the HealthCare.gov website.

“Tens of millions of people have already felt the benefits of reform,” says Obama. “But there are millions more of our fellow citizens who stand to be helped — and we’ve got to make sure they know exactly how.”
