Brown caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger in the first quarter as the Steelers (6-8) opened up a 14-0 lead.  He added a 67-yard punt return touchdown as Pittsburgh snapped a two-game skid.

“It’s always great when you dictate the game and play ahead and not play catch-up,” Brown said.

The Bengals (9-5) fell behind early and never recovered.  They were looking to move closer to a third consecutive playoff berth.  A win would have also given them the No. 2 seed in the AFC after New England (10-4) lost to Miami earlier in the day.

“We didn’t make anything happen,” Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis said. “We didn’t make any plays, create any opportunities.”

Andy Dalton threw for 230 yards and two scores in the loss.
