The five-time Pro Bowler suffered his second concussion in the past four games during Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans.

The 32-year-old Welker also suffered a concussion in a win over the Kansas City Chiefs on November 17.  Head coach John Fox said on Monday that Welker’s health is “what we’re thinking about,”adding that he will undergo the league’s concussion protocol.

According to the league’s protocol, any player who suffers a concussion is not permitted to participate in a full practice until the following Friday at the earliest.

Welker is the Broncos’ second-leading receiver this season with 778 yards and 10 touchdowns.
