Anne Hathaway Caught in Hawaiian Riptide Drama

ABC/Rick Rowell(LOS ANGELES) — Anne Hathaway had a close call while vacationing in Hawaii this past Wednesday.
TMZ reports the 31-year-old actress was on a beach with her husband, actor Adam Shulman, when she decided to go for a swim and suddenly found herself caught in a dangerous riptide.
A local surfer heard Hathaway screaming for help and raced out to rescue her and bring her to safety.
But the drama didn’t end there. TMZ says as Hathaway was being brought back to shore, she cut her foot on a reef and began bleeding. Hubby Adam took care of the injury and the actress was spotted later in the day posing for photos with fans.
