Temperatures are expected to be below freezing on Sunday, but neither team is worried about the conditions.

“The elements always play a role,” Broncos head coach John Fox said.  “The good news is both teams got to deal with it.  We’ve dealt with plenty of elements this year. I think our team is prepared for just about anything.”

Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker echoed his head coach’s take on the weather. “We really don’t look at the weather reports,” he said.  “We’ve played in the elements, we play in cold weather.  We’re just going to make sure we’re prepared for anything Sunday.  It’s the Super Bowl, it doesn’t matter what the weather is.”

Another big question around this week has been whether or not Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning would retire if Denver pulls out a victory on Sunday.

“I’m down the home stretch of my career, but I’m still in it,” Manning said in regards to his legacy.  “It’s not over yet, it’s still playing out.”

“This has been the second chapter of my career, it’s an exciting chapter,” Manning continued.  “I’m certainly excited to be back in the Super Bowl on behalf of the Denver Broncos.”
