Eric and Ryan Jensen, the brothers who owned and ran Jensen Farms southeast of Denver, were sentenced Tuesday to six months of home confinement and five years’ probation.

Thirty-three people died and close to 150 were sickened by listeria that spread on cantaloupes grown at the Colorado farm. It was found the farm was not properly cleaning fruit before it was sent to stores.
