ESPN: Mattingly Agrees to Extension with Dodgers
Published at(NEW YORK) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a multiyear contract extension with skipper Don Mattingly, ESPNLA.com’s Ramona Shelburne reported Tuesday.
The official announcement is expected to be made later in the week.
ESPN reports the deal is for the next three seasons.
In three seasons as Dodgers skipper, Mattingly is 260-225. Last season, he led the Dodgers to the NL West championship, followed by a trip to the National League Championship Series, where the Dodgers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in six games.
