Nordic Trails Updated at Mink Creek

(POCATELLO, ID) – One of eastern Idaho’s most popular cross-country skiing areas just got a facelift. The Mink Creek Nordic Center south of Pocatello recently had its trails renovated, making it possible to ski with only a few inches of snow on the ground. Managers say they’ve purchased new equipment that makes it much easier to groom trails and expand accessibility. In an effort to get more people interested in the sport, Mink Creek is holding a free ski day this Saturday, which includes all trail passes and rentals.
