Spurs Guard Manu Ginobili Out With Strained Hamstring
Published at(SAN ANTONIO) — The San Antonio Spurs will be without the services of guard Manu Ginobili for the next three to four weeks, because of a strained left hamstring.
Ginobili suffered the injury during the third quarter of Tuesday night’s 97-90 loss to the Houston Rockets. An MRI on Wednesday revealed the strain, which was caused after the two-time NBA All-Star guard dunked.
Earlier this month, Ginobili missed two games with the same injury. Forward Kawhi Leonard, guard Danny Green and center Tiago Splitter are also on the shelf because of injuries.
In 42 games this season, Ginobili is averaging 12.1 points and 4.5 assists per game.
