Bob Barker Lobbies Against Ag Gag Bill

(BOISE, ID) – Longtime game show host Bob Barker is asking Governor Butch Otter to veto a bill that would enable police to jail whistle-blowers from dairy farms. Barker is an outspoken animal rights activist, and believes that people shouldn’t be punished for recording the alleged mistreatment of livestock. If Otter green-lights the bill, those caught filming on farms without permission could spend up to a year behind bars.
