Bulls’ Noah Fined $15K for Outburst

Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — The day after his profanity-laden tirade towards officials, Joakim Noah was fined $15,000 by the NBA on Tuesday. Noah was ejected after picking up two technical fouls in the third quarter of Chicago’s 99-90 loss to Sacramento on Monday.
“I think it was fair,” said Noah prior to Tuesday’s contest at Phoenix. “It was a bad mistake on my part.”
The outburst occured in the third quarter when Noah was assessed his second technical after reacting to a foul call. The center unleashed a barrage of expletives directed at each individual official and had to be escorted off the court.
Noah’s first technical came just three minutes earlier. Noah did apologize for his actions after the game.
