Christina? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1393078822381ABC/Richard Harbaugh(LOS ANGELES) — They may be stars, but when it comes to love, these women have no problem falling for an average Joe.

Christina Aguilera is the latest female celebrity to find love with a so-called “regular” guy. The 33-year-old singer just announced that she is expecting a baby with her longtime beau Matt Rutler, who proposed to her a week ago while on vacation.

Aguilera surprised the world when she stepped out with Rutler in October 2010, soon after splitting from her ex-husband music executive Jordan Bratman, with whom she has a six-year-old son named Max.

She met Rutler on the set of Burlesque. Aguilera was one of the stars of the film, alongside Cher. Rutler, 29, was a production assistant at the time.

Before Burlesque, Rutler worked as a production assistant on many popular films, including The Proposal, Grown Ups, and The Social Network.

Not only has the couple stuck together, but Aguilera credits Rutler with getting her through her painful divorce.

“People I’ve known for 10 years see us together and they’ve told me, ‘I just can’t believe the person who’s in front of me, because I’ve never seen you so light, never seen you so happy,'” she told US Weekly in June 2011.

Here are four other celebrity women who found love with an average Joe:

1. Keri Russell and Shane Deary

Felicity actress Keri Russell fell for carpenter Shane Deary. The couple secretly wed on Valentine’s Day 2007 and have two children, son River, 6, and daughter Willa, 2. But in January, Russell 37, announced that she had split from Deary. “They have been separated since early summer,” a rep for the actress told People magazine. “The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children.”

Britney Spears and David Lucado

Britney Spears once described her new boyfriend, lawyer David Lucado, as a “simple man.” The 32-year-old pop star met Lucado at a party, where the connection was “instant,” she told Ellen DeGeneres in December 2013. Now the couple is talking children, though not necessarily marriage. Spears has a history of hooking up with average Joes. She has two sons with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, a backup dancer. And in 2004, she was wed to childhood friend Jason Alexander for 55 hours before the marriage was annulled.

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart

Like Spears, Jennifer Lopez found love with a backup dancer. The 44-year-old mother of two began seeing her former backup dancer, Beau “Casper” Smart, 26, in October 2011, soon after announcing her split from third husband Marc Anthony. Two years later, the couple is still going strong and Lopez has found the secret to a great relationship. “It’s about finding a relationship that has enough good stuff to outweigh the bad, because nobody’s perfect right?” she told Glamour UK.

Madonna and Brahim Zaibat

There’s something about those dancers. Madonna, 55, fell for French dancer Brahim Zaibat, 25, after he performed at the launch her daughter Lourdes’ Material Girl clothing line in 2010. It seems Zaibat was not cowed by Madonna’s superstar status. “She’s just a woman like all the others. She’s an extraordinary artist and world famous, of course, but a woman above all,” Zaibat told the Daily Mail in 2010. But after three years together, the relationship ran its course; the couple split at the end of last year and Madonna is already linked with another backup dancer, Timor Steffens.
