Gas Prices on the Rise
Published at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Gas prices are going back up across the Gem State. Authorities with AAA say the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded could go up to as high as $3.85 in the next two months. Starting in February, oil refineries begin maintenance as outdoor temperatures rise, which is complicated even further when companies start swapping out winter-grade gas for summer-grade fuel. Winter-grade gas is generally less expensive and contains more butane, while summer-grade gas is more expensive because the butane is reduced to make it more eco-friendly.
