(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Lincoln Day Dinner brought hundreds of Republicans to Idaho Falls Saturday night, including Governor Butch Otter and Senator Jim Risch.  Otter says he’s committed to reducing the federal government’s influence in Idaho politics, while his primary rival, Russ Fulcher, believes Otter isn’t doing enough to reduce the state’s financial dependency on federal aid, especially through healthcare. Lincoln Day is an nationwide annual celebration and fundraiser for the GOP that honors the party’s first elected president.
