Machete-Wielding Suspect Identified

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Pocatello Police have released the name of a man who was shot after breaking into an apartment Saturday. Fifty-four-year-old Twain Thomas lives in the Stanford Apartments off of Garfield, and was shot in the chest three times after forcing his way into a neighbor’s apartment wielding a machete. Thomas remains hospitalized at Portneuf Medical Center, and will face felony charges of aggravated assault once he is released.
