Marvin Williams and Utah Jazz Defeat Miami Heat, 94-89
Published at(SALT LAKE CITY) — Jazz forward Marvin Williams scored 23 points and teammate, forward Richard Jefferson contributed 14 as Utah (17-33) upended the Miami Heat (35-14), 94-89 on Saturday night.
The Heat pulled within two when guard Ray Allen drilled a three with 46 seconds remaining in the game. Jazz guard Trey Burke responded with a 19-foot jumper to push the lead to four with 24 seconds left.
Miami would miss their final four shots to snap their three-game winning streak. Guard Dwayne Wade was one of five players to score in double figures for the Heat, leading the team with 19 points.
