Michigan Rep. John Dingell Calls It a Career

US Congress(WASHINGTON) — The Dean of the House is calling it a career.
Michigan Democrat Representative John Dingell said Monday he will not seek re-election when his current term expires. He’s been a member of the House since 1955.
Dingell, 87, cited his health and growing frustration with congressional gridlock as his reasons for leaving his post.
