(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —  Blackfoot resident Adan Arroyo pleaded guilty to first-degree murder Tuesday.  The 23-year old Arroyo entered the plea in connection with the shooting death of Kristy Aschliman in January of 2013.   Part of the agreement included the prosecution not to seek the death penalty, instead a recommendation of 27-years to life.   Arroyo must make a statement to law enforcement and disclose all that he knows surrounding the murder and must take and pass a polygraph test.  He also agreed to waive all appeals and to pay restitution.  The State also agreed to drop the dangerous contraband charge while in jail.  Arroyo was accused of making a weapon out of a toothbrush last April.  Arroyo will be sentenced June 5th.
