Published at(SAN FRANCISCO) — The San Francisco 49ers and offensive lineman Daniel Kilgore agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2017 season on Thursday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are pleased to extend the contract of a talented, young player like Dan,” 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement. “This move is another example of our philosophy to extend the contracts of our own young players.”
The 49ers selected Kilgore out of Appalachian State in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL draft. The 26-year-old has spilt time between center and guard.
