PSR Medicaid Services Cut

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Mental health services for Idaho children on Medicaid are being reduced. Time for psychosocial
rehabilitation services and counseling have been cut in half for some local patients. Mental health specialists around the region are pointing the finger at Optum Idaho, a Minnesota-based outpatient provider receiving more than $13 million per month to provide services for Idahoans on Medicaid. They say Optum is reducing hours for PSR aides, possibly due to a lack of adequate funding
