The storm knocked out power for more than 700,000 customers.

As of 4 a.m. Saturday, PECO Energy said roughly 164,000 of its customers were still without power in a six-county area, including Philadelphia.

Mike Boula, with NSTAR in Boston, is helping to restore power outside of Philadelphia, and he says many power lines are in backyards, making them difficult to access.

“You have to hike up to them, climb the poll, you know, do whatever you can do to get to them,” Boula said.

PECO Energy representatives warn it may take until next week to restore power to all of the customers still in the dark.
