6.9-Magnitude Quake Reported Off California Coast
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — A 6.9-magnitude earthquake was reported off the coast of California on Sunday.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck at 9:18 p.m. local time, about 50 miles west of Eureka at a depth of 4.3 miles.
No tsunami warning was issued for the area, however the National Tsunami Warning Center said there was no danger for the Pacific coast of the U.S.
So far, there have been no reports of injuries or damage.
