Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Won’t Seek a Third Term

Office of the Governor, State of AZ(PHOENIX) — Arizona Governor Jan Brewer says she won’t seek a third term in office.
Brewer made the announcement at a Phoenix school on Wednesday.
“Serving as governor has been the privilege and pleasure of my life,” she said. “I’m saddened to be leaving this post next year but I’m proud of the remarkable progress we’ve made for the state during my time in office.”
Brewer could have challenged a provision of the state constitution that limits officeholders to two terms in office.
