Scott, 47, was found dead on Monday in her Manhattan apartment.

The NYC Medical Examiner’s Office said it completed the autopsy and determined Scott committed suicide by hanging.

Scott was a renowned stylist and fashion designer whose clothes have been worn by A-listers including Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie and Penelope Cruz.

In addition to her career in fashion, Scott had dated Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger for more than a decade.

“I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way,” the Rolling Stones frontman said in a statement released Tuesday on his website.

“We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves,” Jagger wrote. “She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me.”
