ABC 31513 DWTSCast? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1395655379309ABC/Rick Rowell(NEW YORK) — Dancing with the Stars will announce its first elimination of the new season on Monday night. We’ll also see the celebrities and their pro partners perform a new dance.

The celebs chose their dance style for Monday night, though NeNe Leakes claims she was tricked into performing the jive. The reality star, who’s partnered with Tony Dovolani, explains to ABC News Radio, “I never secretly wanted to do that, it was my husband’s favorite dance and I said it, I didn’t know it was a trick question. It was my husband’s favorite dance, so now I’m doing his favorite dance.”

Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis will tackle swing dancing with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. She says she’s looking forward to it because it’s fast-paced and physically challenging.

Star Wars actor Billy Dee Williams, who enters the second week of action in last place, says he and his partner, Emma Slater, will be ready to do the tango. He says, “I wanna do it, I hope I can do it, and with her guidance, I might just end up doing it.”

Aside from learning which couple will get the hook, fans on Monday night will be instructed on “The Switch Up” — a new wrinkle in the format that will allow them to vote on changes to the celebrity-pro pairings. The voting guidelines will be revealed on the show.

Dancing with the Stars airs on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
