(AMERICAN FALLS, ID) – A $1.5 billion fertilizer plant is coming to American Falls. Power County officials say the Magnida plant will occupy 600 acres of land recently purchased from local farmers. With such a massive operation moving in, several infrastructure projects will need to be completed, including the construction of a new electrical substation. Authorities don’t have a time frame for when the plant will be finished, but are optimistic that the facility will provide hundreds of new jobs for the region.
