Man Arrested for Meth

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls man was arrested Monday on meth charges. Police received a call on Monday about a suspicious man jumping  in and out of the back of a pickup parked near the intersection of Chamberlain Avenue and Short Street. 33-year-old Nicholas Watkins was reportedly combative with officers when they arrived to see what was going on. Police say Watkins was found to be in possession of methamphetamine at the time of his arrest. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 28.
