Oprah Winfrey Develops Tea for Starbucks

Starbucks(NEW YORK) — Oprah Winfrey fits Starbucks to a “tea.” She’s teaming up with the coffee chain on a new brand of tea that will go on sale next month.
The former daytime TV queen helped develop Teavana Oprah Chai Tea, which Starbucks says features “a bold infusion of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves, blended with loose-leaf black tea and rooibos.”
“I looove tea,” Winfrey says in a statement. “…To share one of my favorite things with the rest of the world and support youth education at the same time is truly the perfect blend.”
With each sale of the tea, Starbucks will make a donation to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation, which benefits her all-girls school in South Africa.
It will be made available in Starbucks locations across the country on April 29.
