Otter Files For Third Term

(BOISE, ID) – Gov. Butch Otter has formally declared his intention to seek a third term in office.  Otter filed his official candidacy declaration with the Secretary of State on Monday. Otter maintains that his work over the past seven years has allowed Idahoans to hold firmly to conservative values. State Sen. Russ Fulcher of Boise will challenge Otter later this spring in the GOP primary. A.J. Balukoff, President of the Boise School Board, remains the only Democratic candidate in the race.
