triple murder

(MALAD, ID) – Authorities are still pursuing leads on a brutal triple-murder near Malad.  Saturday marked the one-year anniversary of the shootings, which left two parents and a grandfather dead on a farm in Holbrook. Investigators found a $100,000 marijuana growing operation in the basement and 64 pit bulls used in a dogfighting ring outside. Two young children survived the attack, and about 20 dogs were saved. Officials are building a case against specific suspects in Utah and California that may be gang members.
