With Game 5 and the series in the books, the Bruins will advance to the conference semifinals and will face the Montreal Canadiens.

Tuuka Rask made 31 saves for the Bruins, only allowing two goals by Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg.

“That series was much tougher than maybe the results showed,” said Bruins captain and defenseman Zdeno Chara, who wound up scoring the go-ahead goal in the second period. “I think that we handled it well, we came into this series ready and we got the job done.”

Along with Chara, Loui Eriksson, Milan Lucic, and Jarome Iginla each scored goals for the Bruins.

The Bruins played the Canaidens four times in the regular season, but went 1-3 in those contests.
