(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls man will serve 25 years in federal prison for shooting a rifle at the White House. Oscar Ortega-Hernandez, whose conspiracy-fueled quest for religious justice led him to fire an AK-47 at the White House in 2011, hit the executive mansion eight times and caused an estimated $100,000 in damage. No one was injured, and the Obamas were away from Washington when it happened. The man’s attorneys claim their client suffered from extreme depression and mental stress at the time of the shooting.
