LDS Church Calls for Immigration Reform



(SALT LAKE CITY, UT) – Following a meeting with President Barack Obama on Tuesday, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is reaffirming its call for immigration reform. Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the First Presidency cited his own experiences as a refugee during World War II in Germany, and stressed the importance of keeping families together in a way that balances the law with compassion.
