Plane Crashes at Rexburg Airport

(REXBURG, ID) – A plane crashed at the Rexburg airport Tuesday. Police say the small, single engine aircraft went down at about noon. Investigators determined that the pilot had aborted the takeoff and landed in some brush at the end of the runway. Both the pilot and a passenger survived the crash and were treated for minor injuries. Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration are expected to visit the crash site later this week.
