(POCATELLO, ID) – The city of Pocatello is temporarily closing the AMI/Kirkham Greenway Trail. Idaho Fish and Game officials are reporting an increase in the number of coyote sightings in the area, including an attack on a small dog that was being walked by its owner Sunday night.   Authorities will work to trap the animals, which will likely be relocated or euthanized. They expect the closure to remain in effect through the remainder of the week.
