(POCATELLO, ID) – Rocky Mountain Power gave a $10,000 donation to the Idaho Foodbank Tuesday. Officials say that the foodbank is able to provide three meals for every dollar donated. With an estimated 60,000 eastern Idaho families needing financial assistance to cover the cost of groceries, foodbank manager Rebecca Ristrem says the donation will go a long way toward helping people in rural and under-served communities around the region. Rocky Mountain representative Tim Solomon says his company is committed to meeting the needs of the area’s growing population.
