(WEST YELLOWSTONE, MT) – A viral video showing bison and other animals running out of Yellowstone National Park has sparked rumors that the supervolcano is going to erupt soon. However, Yellowstone Public Affairs Chief Al Nash says there’s no reason to worry, at least for the near future. Although the park has seen a few noticeable earthquakes in recent weeks, Nash says the park has as many as 3,000 temblors per year. Experts say the running bison in the video are simply migrating to find better foraging areas. The Yellowstone supervolcano has erupted three times in the past 2.1 million years.
