(BURLEY, ID) – A southern Idaho high schooler is now taking care of two brothers after losing six family members in a car accident in Mexico. Nineteen-year-old Jasmin Gomez of Paul lost her mother, brother, sister-in-law, and three nieces in February when a drunk driver hit their car. Gomez, who has had to take two jobs to make ends meet, isn’t sure if the bank will allow the surviving family members to keep their house. A benefit dinner for the family is scheduled for April 23 at the First Baptist Church in Paul.
