Arizona Diamondbacks Recall RHP Trevor Cahill

iStock/Thinkstock(PHOENIX) — The Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled righthanded pitcher Trevor Cahill from Triple-A Reno and reassigned righthander Mike Bolsinger.
In 19 games with the D-Backs this season, Cahill is 1-6 with a 5.66 ERA and a 1.74 WHIP. He has struck out 44 batters in 41 1-3 innings of work.
On the season with Arizona, Bolsinger is 1-6 with a 5.50 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in 10 appearances. He has struck out 48 batters in 52 1-3 innings.
At the All-Star break, the Diamondbacks are 40-56, 13 1-2 games behind the National League West division leaders, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
