BYU-Idaho Students Moved to Shelters in Jerusalem

(REXBURG, ID) – At least ten BYU-Idaho students had to be moved to a bomb shelter in Jerusalem during Palestinian rocket attacks against Israel this week. The BYU Jerusalem Center on Mount Scopus is only a few hundred yards from the Dome of the Rock in a Palestinian-controlled section of the city. Over 70 students and staff briefly took cover following the strikes, which were launched by the Saudi and Iranian-backed terrorist group Hamas. Campus administrators plan to monitor the situation closely to determine if further precautions are necessary.
