Chukars Loss Ends Otherwise Good Road Trip
Published at(GREAT FALLS, MT) — The good news for Idaho Falls was they won five out of seven games on the Montana road trip. The bad news was they ended the trip with a 7-3 loss to Great Falls on Monday.
The Chukars (15-13) were only able to get one run of Voyagers starter Matt Ball through five innings. Idaho Falls fell behind 7-1, before DonAndre Clark got the Greybirds closer in the seventh. With two runners in scoring position, the center fielder hit a bloop single to center field that scored both.
Idaho Falls begins a seven game homestand on Wednesday. The Billings Mustangs come to Melaleuca Field for a three game series.
