Idaho Falls Traffic Stop Turns into Drug Bust

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Two people were arrested during a drug bust in Idaho Falls Thursday morning.
Idaho State Police initiated a routine traffic stop along I-15 just before 10 a.m. The officer had probable cause to search the vehicle with a K-9 unit, which yielded over three pounds of methamphetamine, small amounts of marijuana, and three guns. Twin Falls residents Kimberly Rose and Uriel Ortega were taken to the Bonneville County Jail on felony drug trafficking charges.
