Idaho State Police Runs Food Drive

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Idaho State Police were at Melaleuca Field Saturday night to collect donated food for a soup kitchen. Local News 8 reports that the patrolmen wanted to do something special in honor of ISP’s 75th year in operation. The agency has lost five troopers in the line of duty during that time. Spokesman Chris Weadick says area troopers see many people in need, and that the donated items will go directly toward helping the homeless and hungry.
