Jackson Airport Remains Busy

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) – The busiest airport in Wyoming is on track to have its busiest year on record.
Nearly 33,000 people boarded a commercial jet at the Jackson Hole Airport in June. That’s up 8 percent compared to the same month a year ago.
The number of air travelers taking off from Jackson Hole is up 10 percent through the first six months of this year.
The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports 2008 was the busiest year in the airport’s history, followed by 2013.
The airport is located just north of Jackson in Grand Teton National Park and is the only commercial airport located inside a national park.
