(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – People are already reserving spots along the Idaho Falls Greenbelt for the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration. City officials have already reported seeing spraypaint on the grass with spaces outlined, a practice that is illegal. All stakes, blankets, and roped off areas will be removed for lawn mowing prior to Friday’s firework show. Authorities say no one can legally reserve a spot, and are urging those present to be courteous and respectful. Idaho Falls boasts what is believed to be the second largest firework show in the country, drawing annual crowds of more than 100,000.
